Raven, 9749 was released in early 2004 as a deeper opaque black then our earlier releases. As artists continue to push the envelope, we respond by filling the void. This is a saturated green, violet and blue. (We will have to saturate the red as well on the next black we release!). For a saturated black, this is a surprisingly easy colour to melt and shape. There are approximately 11 rods per pound.
Working Tip: Work in neutral flame. If you flash heat in a reducing flame as you finish the project you can produce a look similar to the sheen of a raven’s wing.
